Black Girls Raised In the South

Leading from Within

November 11, 2020 Tafeni English Season 1 Episode 4

To live maximized you have to first be able to See It. Once you have a vision for it, then you have to begin to Say It. Once you pair the two consistently along with intentional actions and behaviors you will Live It. ~Dr. Maranda Griffin

On today’s episode, I have a conversation with my best friend. She’s a true gift to the world and I’m so excited about what you’ll be inspired by in this black girl raised in the South conversation.

Dr. Maranda Griffin has been described as the leader’s leader, coach’s coach, friend’s friend and the champion’s champion.  Formally trained in Counselor Education, Counseling and Psychology, and Elementary Education, she prides herself on bringing out the best in others. She champions others to strive to be their best.  She genuinely wants to see people win!

She gives her parents the credit for teaching her such a hard work ethic. She is an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Junior League, the American Counseling Association, Florida Counseling Association, and the Association of Counselor Educators.

In this episode we discussed key things beneficial to leading from within!
